![]() ![]() what else can i try? thank you very much. ![]() 6 takes a long time for me, so you understand how crippling this is. i hope i haven't missed to list any of the steps i took. The Problem: The download goes extremely slow (as expected, I don't have a great connection out here) but every now and then, the progress will drop and lose a huge chunk of previously download memory, losing as much as 6. I have since restarted my computer, removed my mods, reinstalled and repaired the game (twice), checked the OS, Origin and the game itself for updates, played with a fresh Sims 4 folder, and started the game from the Fitness game picture in the info panel. this chain of events happens every time i start Origin to play. ![]() that's when i can finally play as intended. I restart yet again, and the hovering text over Fitness now reads "owned". i then restart, and the hovering text over the Fitness icon now reads "restart to use". I wait and wait but no further notification appears, so i quit the game and check its info panel-the pack does not show as uninstalled. i accept, and notice that the Fitness pack icon shows "download to use" hovering over it. at the main menu, i am greeted by a pop-up that says my uninstalled packs (that would only be Fitness, which i never removed since i bought it) are downloading, and that i will see a notification when that's done. This is how it goes: i fire up Origin and start the game. the suggested solution (repairing the game) didn't solve it please, do let me know if this has been discussed -or hopefully solved- anywhere else. ![]()
